As part of the release of the Beatles: Rock Band edition on Wednesday, New York based film company Engage Productions promoted a Beatles appearance at Union Square on 09-09-09. Nearly 350 people showed up on 14^th Street hoping to greet Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon or anyone associated with the Beatles. Instead they arrived to a live performance of a mariachi rendition of “Get Back” with New York based Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino whom Engage Productions secured as part of the plan. The response? People loved it says Alvaro Paulino, director of Mariachi Tapatio. “People were singing along with the song while clapping and having a great time.  It was awesome.”
