It was always a dream of mine to see one of the talented, young Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza vocalist on an English TV reality show but it was beyond my dreams to see them singing mariachi music. This year has been simply amazing following 10-year-old Sebastien De La Cruz all the way to the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent (AGT).
It’s been a precious gift to see Sebastien climb this far and much credit is to be given to the producer’s of AGT (for having the vision, thinking outside the box and taking a risk), to Mariachi Charros de Oro (the 10 outstanding students/former students of Texas State University in San Marcos who have donated every bit of their time to supporting Sebastien through this experience) and to Sebastien’s parents, Stacy and Juan De La Cruz, who have made great sacrifices to help make this all happen for Sebastien.
Tune in this Tuesday, Sept. 4 and show your support for Sebastien and Mariachi Charros de Oro by voting. Viewers will have 2 hours to vote for their favorite artist following the 7 p.m. show. You’re the best and we love you.
I’VE SEEN HIM LIVE, THAT LITTLE BOY CAN SING HIS HEART OUT!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK TONITE!!!!
What a pleasure it has been…first of all to meet Sebastien about a year ago here in San Antonio and to listen to his amazing voice. Then to see his maturity and stage presence on national television. It is also great to hear about the talented musicians who have accompanied Sebastien on this marvelous journey.
Thanks, Carol
