Esteban Velasquez, 2007 “Best in the US Vocalist” and TV reality star, will perform “Que Bonita es esta Vida” at the 20th Annual Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards in Miami on Tuesday, April 21 at the Eden Roc Beach Resort and Spa. Accompanying Esteban is yours truly, Cynthia Muñoz, producer of the Texas Mariachi Vargas Concert Tour and the 15th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza. The Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live from the Bank United Center on Telemundo Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. Enrique Iglesias, Reik, Don Omar and Paulina Rubio are among the celebs scheduled to perform.
Having made it to the top 10 finalists on TV AZTECA’s La Academia, Esteban is the only artist representing the mariachi music genre at the Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards. Esteban was selected by members of Mariachi Vargas as the best student vocalist in the U.S. at the most competitive mariachi vocal competition in the country in San Antonio.
