Tickets for the 8 pm performance of Mariachi Vargas range from $19 to $125 and can be purchased online at www.attpac.org, by phone at 214.880.0202, at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office at the Winspear Opera House, 2403 Flora Street (Monday through Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm; Sunday 11 am – 4 pm), or at the remote box office at Park Place Lexus Plano at 1025 Preston Road.
Also this November, the Houston Grand Opera presents To Cross the Face of the Moon/ Cruzar la Cara de la Luna a Mariachi Opera music written by Jose “Pepe” Martinez and featuring him as “Chucho” with Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan. This performance will take place on Novermber 13 at 8 pm at Brown Auditorium, Wortham Theater Center. This is the first Mariachi Opera ever written and will surely be an unforgettable performance.
