Mariachi Relampago from Austin, Texas has been invited to audition on Saturday, January 14th!
Glad to report that Mariachi Relampago was chosen to go to Las Vegas for the next round of competition in the America’s Got Talent 2012.
Howard Stern was a little critical because Mariachi music was
isolated to a certain following but Sharon Osbourne was quick to rebut
him by reminding him of how their “La Bamba” rendition incorporated “Twist
and Shout”. Howie Mandel said great things about Mariachi music evolving into mainstream
America.
Because of so many acts being sent to the Las Vegas show there is no
guarantee that they will perform. It is all up to a panel in Las Vegas
to chose the acts they want to compete in the Vegas Show. Let’s all
hope for the best for them!
