Breathtaking performances from San Antonio’s 17th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Vocal Competition winners can now be viewed on the Mariachimusicdotcom channel on Youtube. Recapture the moment of Clyde Guerra’s rendition of “Esclavo y Amo,” Alyssa Guerra’s version of “No Volvere” and other first, second and third place winners in the elementary, middle school, high school and college/university categories. It’s so fun to watch and learn from these fabulous performances and to see how quickly the students mature year after year. San Antonio’s 18th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza is set for December 1 at the Lila Cockrell Theater. Mariachi group and vocal competitions will be held Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1.
