The list of the finalists for the 16th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Vocal Competition will be posted on  Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 10 am on mariachimusic.com. These finalists will compete on Saturday, December 4 at 8 am at the Municipal Auditorium for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in four categories: elementary, middle school, high school, and college/ university. Members of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan will judge the competition and also choose a “Best in the US” winner to open the concert for them that evening.
