“America’s Got Talent” meets Mariachi?? Attention all Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza participants: “America’s Got Talent” is looking for you! In the past, Mariachi Extravaganza vocal finalists and winners like Sebastian Vela, Victoria Acosta and Celeste Curiel, have auditioned for “American Idol.” Sebastian Vela made it through several rounds just this past summer. Now auditions for “America’s Got Talent” are coming to Houston on Saturday and Sunday, February 12-13, 2011. This year’s vocal competition finalists demonstrated tremendous talent. Here is your chance to try out and show-off your mariachi vocal skills on a nationally televised reality show. If you are interested, send an email, asap, to Audra.AGTCasting@gmail.com, include: name of act and contact name, video link of performance (youtube or vimeo, etc), contact number, email address, picture, interesting biographical info on act, preferred audition time (between 9am & 6pm)- chosen time is not guaranteed, and in subject line of email put “Houston Audition.” (Submission of video does not guarantee an appointment to audition. Appointment selections are at producer’s discretion.)
