Since the 1st show sold out quickly, a 2nd show with el mejor mariachi del mundo, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, has been added at the Arts Center at UT Brownsville. The two shows are scheduled for Sunday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Tickets for the 3:00 p.m. show went on sale yesterday and unfortunately, tickets are completely sold out for the 6:00 p.m. concert.

Don’t miss the incredible guest performances by Mariachi Juvenil de America from Veterans Middle School and Mariachi Cascabel from Rio Grande City High School, both from Rio Grande City, TX. This past December both of these groups won 1st place for the second consecutive year in their respective categories at the San Antonio 17th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza group competition.
