There are hundreds of young vocalists who can belt it out but Sebastien has proven himself as the best among elementary/middle school students having placed first in San Antonio’s Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Vocal Competition last Dec. with a sleu of other trophies that represent his status as the best of young mariachi vocalists in the U.S. Sebastien has the potential to make it all the way the top. He’s young, charismatic and entertaining for English and Spanish speaking audiences. He sang the song La Charreada because of its upbeat tempo and was accompanied by 7 musicians (most who are currently students and former students of Texas State University’s mariachi). The group performed as Mariachi Sur de Oro named after Sebastien who is known throughout Texas as El Charro de Oro.
There’s no doubt Sebastien will make it to the top in this season’s America’s Got Talent. Sharon Osbourne, Howard Stern and Howie Mandell loved him, the audience was on their feet almost from the first note and he delivered a powerful performance. Congratulations Sebastien. We look forward to seeing more of you on America’s Got Talent!!!!
