Tune in to America’s Got Talent June 25-27 and watch for Sebastien De La Cruz

Sebastien De La Cruz has been singing since the age of 5. Now at 10, he’s become America’s most popular, young, mariachi vocalist.

Sebastien’s celebrity status has gone national after appearing as a contestant on America’s Got Talent (Austin auditions) and impressing the judges by singing traditional mariachi music in Spanish. Sharon Osbourne, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel were impressed with Sebastien’s Texas Charro etiquette and his fabulous pipes. “You are personality plus,” said Howard. “You took the roof off the place so congratulations to you,” he said.
Sebastien has proven himself as one of nation’s top performing acts during the toughest mariachi vocal competitions held in the U.S. His awards include:

1st place, Elementary Category, San Antonio’s 17th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza (Dec. 2011)
Runner up, Corpus Christi’s 4th Annual Mariachi Music Fest (May 2011)
1st place Elementary Category, San Antonio’s 16th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza (Dec. 2010)
1st place Overall, Austin’s Mariachi Vargas Vocal Competition (June 2010)
3rd place Elementary, San Antonio’s 15th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza (Dec. 2009)

A viewing party is being planned next week in San Antonio to watch AGT with community folks who are thrilled about Sebastien’s appearance on the show. Tune in for more details that will be posted soon. We wish Sebastien all the luck in the world in Las Vegas!!!!

Aw, I remember this little guy on the Austin show. There are a few other kids who will be joining him, like Lil, the tap dancer. My little girl saw her dance and said she wanted dance lessons too. I love how these little guys inspire other children. We got started watching with a Dish co-worker of mine who suggested the show a few years ago. The best part now is that the kids can see all of the show because we watch the next evening after it airs with our PrimeTime Anytime recording. That way we start earlier, and end earlier because we can watch commercial free with Auto Hop, which cuts out 20 minutes an hour of the show. It’s so nice for the kids to enjoy the show with my wife and me.

Thanks so much for the alert to watch this talented young man on national television! I wish the segment with Sebastian could have been longer but intend to tune in to see how he does in the competitions. How privileged we were to see him in performance last year. He truly has a magnificient future ahead of him!
