Mark you calendar for upcoming concerts with Mariachi Vargas in Ann Arbor, MI and El Paso and Brownsville, TX. The first concert takes place at the prestigious  Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, MI Sunday, January 27 at 4:00 p.m. The concert marks Mariachi Vargas’ second run in Ann Arbor since 2010. Vargas will return to Texas on Saturday, February 16 for shows at the Plaza Theater in El Paso and then again on Sunday, March 3 at the beautiful Arts Center on the Campus of UTB – University of Texas Brownsville. The Texas shows are sponsored by Buchanan’s and tickets for Brownsville may be purchased at 956-882-8587.The best news is that Jose “Pepe” Martinez, Sr. is recovering from health issues and will be performing in Ann Arbor, Michigan this weekend!!!! The Ann Arbor concert also marks Mariachi Vargas’ first U.S. show with Manuel Vargas. Manuel was a vocalist and violinist with Mariachi Vargas for 10 years up to 1997. He left the group, moved to the U.S. and has now returned with the group to fill the seat he once vacated.
