Plans for this year’s Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza are in full swing!

As of May 17, 2021 the City of San Antonio sent out a notice that all city-owned convention and sports facilities will open for 100% capacity for all upcoming events. With that being said, we are excited to announce that the 27^th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza will take place in December this year.

You read that right. After a challenging year for all, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief and start celebrating the beautiful music that brings us together. The amount of joy that is experienced at the Extravaganza brings happiness to so many and we cannot wait to see how everyone has grown musically over the past year. Even Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán is eager for December and is already getting ready for an exciting year ahead.

The Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza staff is running full force to get all of the plans in order to make this event a fun-filled memory for the books! More information will be published in the upcoming two months but be sure to take a look at the important information below and start planning your upcoming trip to attend the 27^th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza December 1-5, 2021.

Register with a group and receive:

• Admission to all MVE events as noted on Schedule of Events.
• MVE lanyard
• MVE written music
• Workshop participation
• National Group Competition entry/participation
• National Vocal Competition auditions
• Participation in Mariachi Jam Sessions
• Autograph/photo opportunities with artists

• Opportunity to win scholarships and prizes

Register as a Director or an individual and receive the benefits listed above and:

• Electronic version of Director’s Manual with sheet music
