Mariachi instrumental and vocal workshops are offered to musicians and vocalists at all levels. Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán and other professional mariachi musicians will serve as instructors. Classroom instruction is limited to registered participants only.
Music studied in the workshops is provided by Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. Arrangements are written and/or transcribed by Mariachi Vargas members and are selected from new and old recordings by the group. All music is provided in an easy-to-read format. Instruction is provided primarily in Spanish, but there are always people present who can translate, if necessary.
